انتبه عند سماعك هالجمل بالانجليزي

يوجد في اللغة الانجليزية بعض العبارات التي تطلق
و يراد بها معنىً آخر غير المعنى الحرفي لها
مما قد يسبب بعض الاشكاليات في فهم بعض المحادثات..

وقد أحببت أن أذكر بعضها فيما يلي :

(1) Break the ice
المعنى الحرفي : اكسر الثلج
المعنى المجازي : مهد الأمور او مهد الطريق لأمر ما

(2) He looks blue
المعنى الحرفي : هو يبدو ازرقاً
المعنى المجازي : هو يبدو حزيناً

(3) She is in the clouds
المعنى الحرفي : هي في الغيوم
المعنى المجازي : هي شاردة الذهن

(4)I will go Bananas
المعنى الحرفي : سأصبح موزة
المعنى المجازي : سأجن او سأفقد عقلي

(5) It rains cats and dogs
المعنى الحرفي : انها تمطر قططاً و كلاباً
المعنى المجازي : انها تمطر بغزاره

(6) This is nuts
المعنى الحرفي : هذه مكسرات
المعنى المجازي : هذا جنون او هذا هراء

(7) It's a piece of cake
المعنى الحرفي : انها قطعة من الكيك
المعنى المجازي : إنه لأمر سهل جدا

( 8) He leads a dog's life
المعنى الحرفي : هو يحيا حياة الكلاب
المعنى المجازي : هو يحيا حياة مليئة بالقلق

(9) He is a black sheep
المعنى الحرفي : هو خروف اسود
المعنى المجازي : هو شخص سيء الأخلاق

(10) This is a hot air
المعنى الحرفي : هذا هواءٌ حار
المعنى المجازي : هذا كلام لا فائدة منه

I've read these information before !! I must say it's obviously important to read for people who aren't so fond of English, and specially who is a beginner in studying English because it will make him/her wants to know more and more about which things English can be a little confusing in them!

Do you mean it's an American accent ?
Well, it's not. Any person English is his native language uses these sentences, Americans, Australians, Irish and specially British! And we also can use it instead of saying the same things all the time. it will add some special touches on your conversation and will make you look like if English is your native language!

this slang langauge wich is used historly by undrground & subclutre people to be mistry langauge
but do u know i t is taboo do use it now in essays, acadmic or strange people.
I am now in US it is not often to hear slang
howover, u will hear words like
cool
dope(very good
awusme
etc...
