كُنْ كَالـمَاءْ
Forbearing and wide minded
واسع الصدر والأفق
Don't you see it doesn't distinguish between the rich palaces and the poor cottages and between the rich gardens and the poor fields, while falling?
ألا ترى أنه لا يميّز حين يتساقط
بين قصور الأغنياء وأكواخ الفقراء
بين حدائق الأغنياء وحقول الفقراء
Soft
It is poured in vessels of different shapes, sizes and colors. It changes its shape without tructure
ليناً
يُسكب في أوعية مختلفة الأشكال والأحجام
الألوان فيغيّر شكله
تركيبه لكن .. دون أن يبدّل
Pure
Don't you see, the sea is pure and purifies, nothing gets it muddy. If it is thrown with a stone, the surface will get muddy for a while but it gets back as it was rapidly.
نقيّاً
ألا ترى أن البحر طاهر مطهر لا يكدّره شيء
لو رميت حجرا.. سيتكدر سطحه لبرهة
لكن سرعان ما سيعود إلى ما كان عليه

Don't you see how the waves rush towards rocks one by one, day after day, week after week, century after century till they leave their effect on the rocks?
صبوراً
ألا ترى كيف تندفع الأمواج نحو الصخور
تارة تلو الأخرى ، يوما تلو اليوم
اسبوعا تلو اسبوع ، وقرناً بعد قرن
حتى تترك آثارها فى الصخر الأصم
Wise
Don't you see when the it is very hot, it evaporates, and rises to the sky,
And when it is cool and nice, it condenses and back to the land in rain drops.
حكيماً
ألا ترى أنه إذا اشتد الحر تبخّر
وانطلق نحو السماء
وحين يبرد الجو ويلطف
يتكاثف ويعود إلى الأرض في قطرات المطر
Friendly
Don't you see how much it is nice that dew which appears in the morning, dallies green plants leaves softly, and runs among morning breaths? ودوداً
ألا ترى كم هو لطيف
ذلك الندى الذي يظهر كل صباح
يداعب أوراق النبات الخضراء
ويجري بين نسيم الصباح بخفة
Don't go the way life takes you. Take the life the way you go.
And remember you r born to live & not living because you are born
Life was meant to be lived to the fullest. Don't let anyone or anything get you down. Live life by your rules, and while you are in it.
